About Us

Hi, I’m Chef Sahera, a professionally trained pastry chef with over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry. My love for baking began at an early age, and it eventually led me to open
Pastry Lover’s Choice, a brick-and-mortar pastry shop—a cozy space where I combined my passion for gourmet pastries with my love of coffee.

 

During that time, I was honored to receive awards from the City of New York for my service to the community. I had the pleasure of serving everyone from celebrities and politicians to everyday families who simply enjoyed a good pastry made with heart.

After the pandemic, I made the difficult decision to close my shop, but I knew my journey with baking wasn’t over. I transitioned into teaching virtual baking classes and began coaching aspiring bakers on how to turn their passion into a profitable business—just like I did.

My Mission

I believe food is more than just sustenance—it’s an experience, a celebration, and a powerful connection to culture and community. That’s what fuels everything I create. From comforting soul food to elegant, gourmet bakes, I focus on bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and a whole lot of love.

I’m also a firm believer in baking from scratch. There’s something significant about working with raw, simple ingredients and transforming them into something beautiful and delicious. It teaches patience, builds confidence, and reconnects us with the tradition and joy of homemade food. In a world of shortcuts and instant everything, baking from scratch is a way to slow down, be intentional, and create something truly special with your own hands.
